M&M's Great Wisconsin Tour

Wisconsin.  It's home.  The past two weeks were just wonderful.  We were so blessed to have the chance to see all our family and friends without any hassle/stress.  It was busy, for sure, but we never felt rushed or out of time.  We took HUNDREDS of photos, you can see all of them here (some are highly edited, but a lot turned out great right away! Maybe I DO know a little bit about my camera settings!)...but I'd like to share some of my select favorites to give you a brief overview of what we all did:

Greendale/Milwaukee/Germantown:
Attended a friend's wedding.
Ate out everyday.  Here's my family (minus matt and brother nate) at Sheridan's Cafe.
sleepy lion at the zoo!

Dinner date with Matt.
Romantic evening at the Sheridan Botique Hotel.

Driving downtown.
Pine Lake Camp:

With the Parks' - dear friends and brother and sister in Christ.
(also our jam session buddies!)
With our brother and sister (in-law for me!) and our nephew!
Appleton:
Downtown College Ave.
Met up with some awesome friends at Bazil's.
Visited the ol' stomping grounds - the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music.

The lovely LU Chapel stage.

Car Travels:

Goodbye, Wisconsin! I miss you!! Until next time!!

Still Here!

Hi friends!  You've probably noticed that I've been pretty silent here on my blog and twitter account.  That's because we are on vacation to our lovely home state of Wisconsin!  We've been having a blast traveling around the state visiting family and friends, and have been trying to do as much as we can in the 2 weeks we have here.

You can expect a FULL update as soon as we return to Mississippi, but for now, here's just a glimpse of some of the fun we've been having - an impromptu jam session we had in our cabin in Westfield, WI!

Mercy

"You walk upon heaven, You walked upon the earth.
You brought forth salvation; for me, a second birth.
You took my broken cross up to cavalry.
You sang my redemption song hanging on that tree!"

After my week of crazy guitar issues, Matt and I sang our little duet tonight at our church's praise and worship service.  It started out a little rocky, but I felt more comfortable as we went on.

Ignore the poor video quality and the out of time "church claps" :)
